An existing customer has made the move to Microsoft 365 Enterprise from their existing mixture of on-premises and hosted systems.

Using Microsoft best practises, planning ahead and then applying lessons learned during early deployments, we accomplished our goal of moving  all user mailboxes and company data into 365 and decommissioning the vast majority of on-premises servers.

The project included initial discussions and approval with stakeholders, a communications plan to inform staff about the upcoming migration, pre-deployment testing, the migration itself and follow-up user training.

The Microsoft 365 Enterprise plan has been implemented with tight security, including MFA and device controls using Azure AD and Intune.
